Sometimes during your studies you need a little time out de-stress. What better way to do that than by spending time with some four-legged friend? Whether you're wanting to feed a cow, cuddle a cat or exercise surrounded by puppies, there's something for everyone in Birmingham!

Attwell Farm Park

Attwell farm park is a great day out for the whole family, located just a short drive from the City Centre. Alongside getting to hand feed your farmyard friends, there’s also large indoor and outdoor play areas for younger members of the group!

Kitty Cafe

Cats. Coffee. Cakes. Do I need to give you any more reason to visit the Kitty Café tucked away in Grand Central Station? Didn’t think so.

Puppy Yoga

Puppy Yoga is sweeping the nation. Founded by psychologists specialising in mental wellbeing, Puppy Yoga was designed to reduce stress and boost serotonin levels for all who take part. Spaces book fast, with dates and locations in Birmingham announced on their Instagram profile at various times of the year.

Dudley Zoo

Dudley Zoo is uniquely set on the grounds of the historic Dudley Castle. Journey through time while you admire some of the worlds greatest creatures. The perfect mix of education and enjoyment.

West Midlands Safari Park

A safari is right on our doorstep in the West Midlands! Make sure to stop and hand feed the animals as you drive through each enclosure on the safari, before exploring the rest of the park on foot. There’s even a small theme park for younger members of the group!

The Donkey Sanctuary

The donkey sanctuary is tucked away in Sutton Park, and as the name suggests, is home to a herd of well-mannered donkeys, who love nothing more than a scratch behind their ears. Entry is free but a slot must be booked in advance due to the limited number of visitors allowed each day.

National SEALIFE Centre

Featuring sharks, sea otters and penguins, this magnificent aquarium is located right in city centre. Immerse yourself in the underwater walkthroughs, as if you were exploring the depths of the ocean yourself.
