Summer Programmes

Each year, the University offers several places for BCU students to volunteer or study overseas at our partner institutions/organisations during the summer. These are fantastic opportunities to learn new study skills, enhance your CV, see the world, make friends, have fun, and build up your personal and professional skills for the future!

You can gain the same benefits from short-term programmes as with longer-term semester or full year exchange. This could be the perfect option for you if you've never been abroad or don't want to spend too long away from home but still want an exciting study abroad experience.

We currently have 30+ programmes to choose from in 30+ destinations around the world, available from the beginning of June to the end of August. We have opportunities available online or face-to-face. We have European destinations and international destinations, study programmes, volunteering programmes, you name it, we've got it! Our students have been to Europe, Brazil, China, Brunei, India, Mexico, South Korea, and Taiwan in previous years!

Many of our partner institutions offer free or reduced tuition fees. Some field trips may also be included. Courses are taught in English, and you may have the chance to learn another language. The cost of flight tickets, everyday personal expenses, and accommodation are not included (unless clearly stated by the partner University/organisation).

All students are eligible to apply.

If you're a current student looking to apply for this summer, you can find current opportunities and funding information on Moodle.
