RISE Black Leadership Programme
Leadership, Community and Growth for Black Heritage Students
With a focus on developing leadership, building community and enhancing skills, RISE is a personal and professional programme designed to empower second year Black heritage students to excel. Students will benefit from tailored workshops, mentoring from Black professionals in industry and optional socials to extend their networks.
Created through a collaboration between Birmingham City University and Birmingham City University Students' Union, this programme is crafted specifically for second-year Black heritage students. Black heritage refers to the rich and diverse history, culture, and experiences of people of African and Caribbean descent, including those with mixed heritage.
Who is it for and how do I apply?
The RISE Black Leadership Programme is open for any second year (Level 5) students of black heritage. To get involved, fill out the form here.
