Applied Forensic Psychology

This group, led by Dr Chrisa Pornari, aims to conduct high quality and impact research that enhances and furthers our understanding of various aspects of criminal behaviour.

This includes offending behaviour, victimisation, and how that contributes to the successful functioning of the Criminal Justice System at all levels, including criminal investigations (e.g., investigative interviewing), the courts (e.g., jury decision making), prison, probation, and forensic healthcare services (e.g., reduction and management of offending behaviour).
