Doctoral Training Alliance Grant Call for Contributors
Interested in being a co-creator for a unique and intersectional research exchange event?
We are looking for 1-2 PGRs to join us as a co-creators to help devise and deliver The Ideas Xchange event in June 2026. The event is a one-day forum for ideas and critical ideas between PGRs, supervisors, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practitioners, policymakers, scholars, and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, disciplines and organisations.
It deliberately up-ends the traditional conference format to create space for reflection, experimentation and change centred on the intersectional lived experience of the PGR journey, particularly how it inflects PGR supervision.
Co-creators should …
- Have experience in event planning
- Have an interest and expertise in EDI
- Have experience of working with external stakeholders
- Be from a Global Majority background
- The project is funded by the Doctoral Training Alliance’s Supervisor Grant Award. It builds on the That’s Me! Project, which explored inequalities across the doctoral lifecycle for Global Majority communities.
PGR co-creators will be paid via Manpower for up to 15 hours @ £17.86 per hour for a total of £267.90.
Further information will follow about attending the event as a participant.
If you are interested, please complete this short online form which includes why you want to be part of this opportunity by the deadline of 20/03/2026.
