Misba Hussain
Dr Misba Hussain is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Birmingham City University. Her research broadly focuses on health psychology, eating behaviours, psychological wellbeing, and body and weight-related experiences. Her work has explored areas including mindful eating, self-compassion and self-kindness in supporting healthier eating behaviours.
Misba has expertise in quantitative, experimental and psychometric research methods, including the development and validation of psychological measures.
