Gabriele Morganti

Gabriele Morganti works with the RAYSD lab as a researcher and is a PhD student at San Raffaele Open University of Rome. His research interests include talent identification and developmental environments within the Italian sporting ecosystem. With a specific focus on football, he examines the sociocultural and environmental constraints that influence players’ developmental opportunities, career trajectories, and long-term achievement. As part of his doctoral program, he collaborates with Birmingham City University through the Research for Athletes and Youth Sport Development (RAYSD) Lab, where he spent six months as a visiting PhD student.
