Mohammad Abu Bakar

Mohammad interned at a well-known I.T company in Brunei in a Research and Development team, researching various confidential projects. It helped him to build his problem-solving capabilities.

He has been working as a private Mathematics and Geography tutor since he completed my A levels in 2006. Later, he worked as an O level Geography and Social Studies teacher at Saint Andrews School, Brunei. Teaching improved Mohammad's transferrable skills, especially his communication, presentation and time-management skills.

Inspiring students is a passion of his. Mohammad was also a higher education counsellor to help students with their higher education preparation - from identifying the right career path, suitable courses and university, to supporting the application process. This PhD opportunity will provide him with a rich learning experience. With the knowledge that this PhD will provide, Mohammad is hoping that one day he will be a part of a research community that constantly undertakes important research and publishes informative, groundbreaking articles.
