Join us for invigorating discussion!
In this session, we hear from Leon Skerrit. Leon has been teaching and training since 2015 starting off in Further Education working with adults retraining in manufacturing operations and business improvement techniques in then moving into offender learning, teaching functional skills and personal and social development in HMP/YOI Brinsford. He has been teaching in Higher Education for three years at BCU and Newman University Birmingham.
In this session, Leon will give the following presentation, followed by an interactive Q&A:
The Hypocrisy of Western Proscription: "If You're not with us, You're Terrorist"
From the Wagner Group to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the US, the UK and their allies apply the label of terrorist to those organisations that do not conform to the western world order, whilst sanctimoniously omitting Academi (Blackwater) and the Israeli Defence Force. All of these organisations have committed the same nefarious actions in the name of achieving the security goals of their various state benefactors but not all are proscribed.
