BCU and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators co-host International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution event

On March 8, 2022, Birmingham City University School of Law's International Business Law Research Group and the West Midlands Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators co-hosted an event to discuss technology, blockchain, dispute resolution and the future of international arbitration.

Sameer Shinh, Chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators West Midlands branch and James Ng, a consultant for MFG Solicitors, presented alongside Dr Alan Ma, a Lecturer in Law at BCU.

The event was arranged for students studying business and law subjects at BCU, including postgraduate students studying on BCU’s LLM in International Business Law students. The event provided a space for students to network with a range of industry professionals, and learn about contemporary issues in the field.
