Doctoral Research College

The Doctoral Research College (DRC) is a non-academic department within Birmingham City University whose primary purpose is to ‘Enable Excellent Research’. The DRC do this by working in partnership with Postgraduate Research (PGR) students, Faculty research colleagues, other professional service groups within the University, to support the doctoral research journey from application to graduation.

The DRC is a fundamental part of the Research Office and DRC staff are also embedded within each Faculty, so support is always available for Postgraduate Research Students
