This past Thursday, May 5, the Curzon Building played host to the annual Dean’s Awards.
Organised by Professor Keith Horton, the Executive Dean of the Business, Law and Social Sciences (BLSS) faculty, the awards looked to highlight special contributions and achievements within the faculty, from both students and staff alike.
There were a total of 11 award categories, which covered student awards, staff awards, team awards and partner awards. Law student Mitica Matthews won the prestigious BLSS Outstanding Student award, while Kevin Glasby of the Business School took home the award for Lecturer of the Year.
Other big awards handed out on the night included International Student of the Year, won by Business student Jaspreet Singh, Personal Tutor of the Year, which was given to Marian Crowley, and Team Performance, awarded to the School of Law’s Pro Bono Unit.
