Spyros Stasis’ heart sank when he realised he didn’t have enough UCAS points to meet his course offer and follow his dream into the music and media industry. However, he got in touch with us during Clearing and was able to join our School of Digital Media Technology.
“There is absolutely no problem applying through Clearing,” he said. “The University has great facilities. In all the years I have studied at the University, the lecturers have been very supportive. You can always find people that share the same interests as you.”
As part of his BSc (Hons) Sound Engineering and Production course, Spyros completed a placement at a recording studio in Birmingham. “This has given me the opportunity to work in my field before I had even got a degree.”
