University to host transnational conference on innovation and entrepreneurship education

University leaders from across the globe will gather in Birmingham next week to discuss the challenges in delivering innovation and entrepreneurship education.

70 senior figures from African and EU universities and research institutions are set to participate in the Birmingham City University conference, part of the EU-funded ‘AHEAD’ project, focusing on leading innovation and entrepreneurship education research that benefits societies and national economies.

The four-day event begins on Tuesday 21 May and includes a series of workshops that highlight good practice in the delivery of innovation education, as well as exploring the challenges and resourcing issues that universities may face.

Universities participating in the event include University of Molise in Italy, Makerere University in Uganda and Kenyatta University in Kenya.
