Businesses looking to get the most out of digital media, can now take advantage of a suite of new, bespoke training sessions, recently launched by Birmingham City University’s NTI Birmingham.

Future Media: Masterclasses enable businesses to explore the next wave of media tools from viral video, web analytics, gamification, smartphone apps and affiliate advertising.

Masterclasses last between half a day and two days – following a free training consultation, are tailored to meet an organisation’s needs, taking place on request in London, Birmingham or on-site at the business premises.

“The Future Media: Masterclasses form part of our new set of Future Media postgraduate courses at NTI Birmingham, which can also provide a PgCert or MA for students through our Nano or Pro courses,” says Sara Middleton, Director of NTI Birmingham.

A launch event for the Future Media: Masterclasses took place at the penthouse suite of Rotunda Birmingham on 10 November 2011. Invited guests from prominent media and marketing agencies were treated to a presentation by Future Media trainer Mark Brill, who tracked the development of media technology over the past decade and predictions for its near future, such as gamification, near field communication (NFC), and the next generation of mobile technology.

“NTI Birmingham has worked closely with the digital communication industry for over 12 months; identifying gaps in training provision and where skill shortages lie with recent graduates,” says Sara Middleton. “We were delighted to host an event that showcased the type of high-end training we offer.”

Those interested in booking a Future Media: Masterclass for their organisation, can request a free continuing professional development (CPD) consultation by calling 0121 202 4817.
