One of the University's MA Media Enterprise graduates has gained work after appearing on national TV. Keisha Thompson, was interviewed for Sky News about how she's searching for her dream job. Following the interview, which was broadcast on July 6, Keisha was offered work with a Midlands media company.
Keisha who is 25 told reporter, Robin Powell, about how she sets herself apart from other graduates; as well as sending her CV to relevant employers, Keisha attends networking events to meet people who work in the media - the industry she wants to work in. Keisha impressed Robin so much that after the interview he offered her work with Ember Regis, the media company that he runs when he's not freelancing for news organisations such as Sky.
