Students to bring Easter bunny back to health

Easter may be off the cards this year if visitors to our stand at The Big Bang Fair can’t find out what’s wrong with the Easter Bunny.

Far too much chocolate and not enough exercise have left him feeling rather poorly, and it’s up to the young healthcare professionals of the future to find out what’s wrong with him.

This is just one of many activities being organised by our Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences as part of The Big Bang Fair, taking place at the NEC next week.

Visitors will play detective as they diagnose patients’ ailments which include testing mock stool and urine samples.

Pat James, Curriculum Lead for Biosciences at Birmingham City University, said:

The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, and engineering for young people in the UK and is aimed at promoting careers within these fields.

Visit Birmingham City University at stand 211, Hall 19 from Wednesday 16 March – Saturday 19 March. The event is free to attend and tickets can be booked via the Big Bang Fair website.
