The University's ‘Creative Networks' is hosting a talk by David Lowe who will speak about his career. David has written music for TV (Panorama, BBC News), radio (BBC World Service) and film. He will be appearing at the event which is being held on Thursday 30 April at Millennium Point, Curzon Street at 6pm.
In addition to David's TV and radio work, he released his debut album Dreamcatcher during 1997 and achieved a Top 3 UK hit with his single Would You...? He has performed at several WOMAD festivals worldwide and was commissioned to compose music for The Tropical Biome at the Eden Project.
During 2006, he was commissioned to write the music for the BAFTA Film and Television Awards and for the BBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics.
Creative Networks was established in 2004 as a regular monthly hub of networking and expertise for creative companies and freelancers in the West Midlands.
