The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and Creative Networks are to hold a special screening and Q&A session at Birmingham City University on Thursday 26 April.
The free event will include screenings of selected short films in the live action and animation BAFTA nominations. Filmmakers will also be answering questions about their projects and the ideas behind them.
Hosts of the event, Creative Networks, provide a space for innovators to meet, share ideas and shape the future. As well as delivering valuable insights into technology trends and developments, Creative Networks bring together parties involved in screen-based and sound based media in the West Midlands, promoting both successful business development and collaboration.
