Award winning novelist Stephen May will join Birmingham City University students at their annual summer show later this month as they launch a new collection of writing and poetic works.
The show on Wednesday 26 June will feature readings and performances by creative writing students at Birmingham City University’s School of English, who will be joined by guest speaker and award winning novelist, playwright and television writer, Stephen May, author of Teach Yourself Creative Writing, TAG and Life! Death! Prizes!
The evening will be hosted by Ian Marchant, lecturer in creative writing at Birmingham City University and author of the memoir Something of the Night, the travel books The Longest Crawl and Parallel Lines, and the novels In Southern Waters and The Battle for Dole Acre.
