Ensuring that you choose a university that can help to maximise your employability is a key factor to consider when deciding where to study. Our courses are led by teaching staff who are specialists in their respective fields; many of whom are industry professionals and offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Former BA (Hons) Media and Communication student, Sebastian Simone, graduated from Birmingham City University in 2011 with First Class honours after specialising in Music Industries and found that the course prepared him for working in the media industry.

Sebastian said: “My undergraduate degree at Birmingham City University provided me with the knowledge and skills required for further study and to secure a graduate position with Warner Music Group. The content covered within my course modules will undoubtedly be really useful in my future career.”
