Natalie Adcock has only just finished her degree in journalism – but she has already started a new job as a PR Account Executive.
Natalie has been working for Prominent Media since last week, and says she's really enjoying the work.
She says: "The Professional Studies module at Birmingham City University puts so much emphasis on undertaking work experience and I did three weeks at Prominent Communications last year before getting an informal interview that secured the new job!
"Although I specialised in journalism, I did modules in public relations that are helping me with the job. The Online Journalism module especially has also taught me useful skills, such as how to engage with an online community, which I am already putting into practice."
