Creative industry professionals are to gather at a Birmingham City University conference next month which will provide insights into the current trends and future possibilities of collaborations between higher education and creative and cultural organisations.
The Creative Enterprise 2013 Conference, organised in partnership with Enterprise Educators UK and hosted by Birmingham City University’s School of Media on Thursday 2 May, will bring together creative industry policy makers and cultural organisations to facilitate discussions about innovation and entrepreneurship in the cultural sector.
Annette Naudin, Award Leader in MA Media and Creative Enterprise at Birmingham City University, said: “The conference will be an opportunity to find out about innovative ideas for managing and developing cultural organisations.
"The event will be really informative for educators, policy makers and for individuals who work in the sector. We want to inspire but also to enable some new partnerships for future projects.”
