The School of Law's Internal Mooting series came to an end today, with student Emma Cole taking home first place.
All four finalists gave fantastic performances in front of judge Lesley Anderson QC, who was extremely impressed by everyone.
Emma, currently studying on the Graduate Diploma in Law course, was named the winner, with third year student Mitica Matthews finishing as runner-up. The other two finalists Jack Rogers and Dominique Owen also put in great performances.
Senior Lecturer Sarah Cooper said:
Sarah also extended her thanks to the student management team who ably organised the competition all year. The School of Law's mooting success is also reflected in the National Mooting series, where Birmingham City University's Mooting Team have progressed all the way to the semi final this year.
