Students network with local law firms

Final year law students seized the opportunity to forge links with local law firms at an exclusive networking evening held by the School of Law at Birmingham Conservatoire.

The event brought together students, lawyers, staff and alumni, providing them with the opportunity to socialise and network at an exclusive concert. After enjoying a special performance by Conservatoire students, guests were able to develop new associations through an informal 'Networking Challenge'.

For final year students, developing networking skills and forging personal contact with potential employers is extremely important, and this event provided a fantastic opportunity for them to do so.

Professor Rosemary Evans, Head of the School of Law, said: "Students were able to develop their networking and communications skills by meeting members of the legal profession at this bespoke event".
