LLB (Hons) Law student Emma Noble has celebrated success at this year’s Extra Mile Awards, winning Undergraduate Student of the Year and the Vice-Chancellor and Student Union President’s Award.
Emma has immersed herself into student life, taking full advantage of the opportunities available here to develop her skills. She has undertaken paid work as a student ambassador, volunteered her time as President of the Student Legal Society and Mooting Society representative, as well as raised money for the Philippines Disaster Fund. Both her academic and extra-curricular efforts have helped her to secure a prestigious training contract with top legal firm Mills & Reeve.
She said: “When I first started, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Now that I have got stuck in and have worked very hard over the last three years, I have realised that it is possible to achieve your goals and make your dreams become reality.”
