Dates announced for this summer’s jewellery training courses

Dates for this summer’s training courses at the School of Jewellery have been revealed. 

There will be 22 short summer courses running from 29 June to 31 July 2015, including Electroforming, Polishing, Stone Setting, Enamelling, 3D Scanning/CAD, Resin Jewellery and GRS Pave Microsetting.

Course attendance needs to be confirmed and tickets booked through Eventbrite before 28 May for classes starting in June and by 4 June for classes starting in July. 

Courses last up to five days and are open to all, from beginners to retailers. Price range from £175 to £620, and are a fantastic opportunity to make industry contacts and master or simply discover new jewellery skills. 

Diana McCann, courses organiser, said: "Courses have been continuously developed over the last 20 years and are taught by the very best practitioners from the jewellery industry in the School’s well-equipped contemporary workshops.

"This makes the School of Jewellery the ideal place for both professionals and beginners to obtain expert training, make useful jewellery industry contacts and enjoy learning in the heart of Birmingham’s historical Jewellery Quarter."
