Lubo Jankovic
Professor of Zero Carbon Design, School of Architecture, Birmingham Institute of Art and Design
Lubo is a founding member of Birmingham City University’s Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon Research. He is able to draw on a multidisciplinary academic career in the field of building services, including architecture, computer science, environmental design, sustainability and the dynamics of structures.
As a practising designer, he delivered several A-rated energy buildings to clients, using Dynamic Simulation methods as design tools. As a researcher, he gained extensive experience of building performance through instrumental monitoring and analysis.
His recent book, ‘Designing Low or Zero Carbon Buildings Using Dynamic Simulation Methods’, published by Routledge in 2012, has been described as a significant milestone in this area of research.
