School of English End of Year Showcase 2016

Students and staff at the School of English will be celebrating their achievements from the year at their second annual End of Year Showcase on Friday 13 May.

Open to all students, staff, family, friends, and employers, the show promises to be bigger and better than last year, and will also be the premiere of our Annual Review for 2015/16.

We will be taking a look back at the year we’ve had as a school, highlighting outstanding work, trips, and staff and student achievements, with presentations, interactive activities and exhibitions of work from all three undergraduate year groups.

The programme for the event is as follows:

(Due to the amount of outstanding work, some sessions run concurrently with others.)

1.45 - 2.30pm Adaptation Performances Curzon Building, Room C192
2.45 - 3.30pm Sci-Fi Presentations Curzon Building, Room C192
3.30 - 4pm Afternoon Break with lunch Curzon Building, Room C087
Commonplace Books and Language Posters Gallery Curzon Building, Room C087
4 - 4.45pm Nature Writing / 21C Poetry / WSS Curzon Building, Room C087
4.45 - 5.30pm Drama Workshop performance of Butterfly Kiss Curzon Building, Room C192
5.45 - 7pm Screenwriting / Flatpack Film Shorts Curzon Building, Room C192 / The Shell, Parkside
7.15pm Drinks Reception Parkside Atrium / C087
