Sky Arts are offering mentoring and scholarships of up to £30,000 for young UK artists, performers and creatives.
Open to artists aged 18 to 30 living in the UK and in partnership with IdeasTap, the Sky Arts Scholarship is giving five artists the chance to take their careers to the next level. You have until 5 March 2015 to apply for an Arts Scholarship.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive a £30,000 bursary to help with living costs and the development of an artistic project, as well as expert mentorship from both senior staff at Sky and members of the arts industry.
You're encouraged to get creative and submit either a written or filmed application in one of the following categories:
- Visual art
- Music
- Dance
- Theatre
- Creative producing
- Creative writing
This year, four scholarships will be awarded to artists living in the UK, and one scholarship to an artist living in the Republic of Ireland. Applications are being accepted online and close on 5 March 2015.
