BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies students have recently benefited from skills workshops and career insights as part of Employment Week. In a cross-faculty collaboration, lecturers from the Business School presented to students on topics such as social enterprise and entrepreneurship, enabling them to broaden their careers ideas.

One student commented: "Employment week was very beneficial as it allowed me to explore the various jobs and career options which I could pursue. I found job hunting in the third sector very interesting, as I didn't realise the variety of jobs that are available. Play therapy was an eye opener as it allowed me to explore how play can allow children to express their thoughts and feelings."
