Birmingham City University prides itself on the strong relationships it holds with many global blue-chip organisations. Our partnership with giant US-based computer technology organisation, Cisco, has been recognised as a foundation to their philosophy.

The University’s School of Computing, Telecommunications and Networks (CTN) has educated generations of dedicated students in learning and applying systems including Cisco’s own. The School of CTN has been recognised as a fully-fledged UK training academy for the world-leading computer network provider.

Birmingham City University’s influence in education has also been recognised by world-leading organisation, Apple, who have supported our efforts with training and resources that are available to our staff and students.

The Faculty of Technology, Engineering and the Environment have dedicated Apple laboratories with the most up to date software and hardware, directly sourced from the world-renowned creative company.
