Join us at a special event, ‘SLTea Party: Celebrating 80 Years’ from 1pm-3.30pm on Friday 14 November.
This year marks 80 years of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), which was first established to “promote the study of speech therapy in this country, to seek to improve and maintain a high standard of knowledge and to unite all members of the profession.”
To mark the milestone, we will be bringing together staff, students, alumni and stakeholders, shining a light on the incredible careers that can be built within the profession, and celebrating the lives that have been changed through SLT.
The event will include inspiring speeches from industry experts and graduates, an RCSLT exhibition, networking and photo opportunities, food and drink and much more.
To celebrate 80 years of the profession, termed as the ‘Oak Anniversary’ which signifies strength and commitment, we will also be planting an oak tree in the grounds of our City South campus to mark the milestone with attendees.
Register for your free place at the event today! We look forward to seeing you there.
Car Parking: Please note, event attendees can park at the car park on Vicarage Road, Edgbaston, B15 3HD, which is just a short walk to the Seacole Building on our City South Campus.
