This event is aimed at anyone who is interested in the use of critical pedagogies in formal and informal education and research, and in participatory and social justice orientated education practices.
Critical Pedagogies in practice will run from 1pm to 4pm (please come and join us from 12pm for lunch) in Seacole 207 on Monday June 30th .
This hands-on workshop-based symposium will be led by PhD students from several universities including BCU, who use critical pedagogies in their work. The workshops will explore theory into praxis for teaching, learning, community work and research.
This event is in collaboration with the Practitioner Education Research Group (PERG) and their partnership with Liverpool John Moore’s University and St Marys University and the Critical Pedagogies network.
