This conference, hosted by the  Centre for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Arts (CEDIA) at Birmingham City University, together research focusing on the conditions of work in the arts and creative sector internationally, as well as potential interventions, theoretical contributions and actions moving forward

Our keynote speaker is Subhadra Das, author of (Un)civilised: 10 Lies that Made the West.  

The conference is being organised by Dr Karen Patel, Associate Professor in Media and Dr Annette Naudin, Associate Professor Academic, who are co-leads of the CEDIA research cluster.
