The Faculty of Arts, Design and Media (ADM) has placed 151-200 in the world for Art and Design in the QS World University Rankings 2019 by Subject.

The QS World University Rankings is a list of the world’s top universities, which allows students who want to study abroad to compare institutions by region and by subject to find the most suitable course.

The QS World University Rankings uses five key metrics to evaluate universities all over the world, which include academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty and International faculty ratio/international student ratio.

“Its intelligence Unit is at the forefront of developing and successfully implementing comparative data to highlight the relative strengths of institutions,” says QS, which has been producing rankings since 2004.

Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of ADM Professor Alison Honour said: ““We are incredibly excited as a faculty to be ranked as one of the top 151-200 universities in the world to study Art and Design as this recognises the excellence in the internationalisation of our learning and teaching, research impact and global reach of our creative students and staff.

“This world ranking also opens up new opportunities for international collaborations and partnerships, helping to put BCU on a new global platform with other outstanding Universities around the world whilst continuing to attract talented international students to study at BCU."
