What our students say...

Anu Yusuf
LLB (Hons) Law

“I always had a dream to study in the UK since my childhood…I already have learned and achieved so much in this country. I simply love my university. With loads of opportunities and facilities, being at university has helped me to develop as an individual. I feel proud of my achievements and to be part of Birmingham City University.”

Ogu-Jude Munachiso
LLB (Hons) Law

“I love everything about Birmingham City University, I can’t simply point my finger at one thing. I work in the International Office as a Conversion Officer, through the University’s OpportUNity programme, and I’ve done this for two years alongside my Law study. My advice to students is take advantage of the opportunities within the University.”

Adamu Magaji
MSc Telecommunications

“As a professional telecommunication engineer, I saw the need to develop my career further with a Master’s degree. I decided to study at Birmingham City University because it happens to be among the leading Universities in the field of Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology and records show that graduates of the University excel in their professional careers. I found the course very interactive and insightful. With dedication, commitment and support from the staff at the University, I graduated with a distinction. The University enhanced my professional career and future aspirations…it has truly been a pleasure and a privilege to have successfully learnt at this remarkable institution.”

Muhammad Sagir Usman
BSc (Hons) CBeST Computing with Network Technology

“I heard that Birmingham City University had an especially good reputation, in particular with the international student community. I enjoyed my lectures and group discussions and I also found the University a very welcoming place, and I made a lot of new friends on the course. I thought that the range of accommodation offered to me by the University were more than suitable, due to their close proximities to bus stops, the shops, the GP and the hospital. I was able to see for myself that Birmingham overall is an incredibly vibrant multicultural city, and better than other cities in the UK! I always recommend Birmingham City University to students wishing to go to the UK for studies and six of them so far have listened to my advice!”
