Kavita graduated in Printed Textiles in 2011 at Winchester School of Arts, University of Southampton. After a year of interning, she then embarked on her teaching career and graduated in 2014 at BCU, in Education Studies in Design Technology.

Kavita has been working at BCU for two years, as an evening technician, where her role consists of supporting staff, students and student monitors and using her set skills within all of the workshops in Fashion and Textiles. Kavita’s skills vary from traditional screen printing, digital printing, use of Wilcom software in Embroidery and all machines in fashion and Textiles (Bernina, Janome, embellishers, Baby lock, weaving handlooms, industrial sewing machines, Buttonhole machine to basic pattern cutting skills).

In her spare time, Kavita loves spending time with family/friends, cooking, the odd spot of cleaning, working on future business goals to burying her head deep into books! #Bookworm alert!!
