Anushika is a Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying and Course Lead for MSc Construction Project Management programme,  within the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment. She holds a PhD in Construction Management and Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Her research focuses on supply chain resilience, construction industrialisation, and data-driven approaches in construction management. She has published widely in high-impact refereed journals, received multiple research awards at reputable international conferences, and actively contributes to the scholarly community as a reviewer for leading academic journals.

Anushika currently serves as Assistant Editor and Editorial Review Board Member for the Built Environment Project and Asset Management (BEPAM) journal, and has also acted as a Guest Editor for several special issues in recognised journals. She supervises undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research students. She is currently an Academic Lead for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (MKTP) project, and collaborates on a National Highways-funded research initiative. Her ongoing work aims to advance supply chain resilience in modular construction through innovative digital and analytical techniques.

Alongside research, Anushika is passionate about teaching Quantity Surveying and Construction Management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is committed to developing industry-ready graduates and nurturing the next generation of construction professionals and researchers to address future challenges within the built environment.
