A Birmingham primary teacher since 1991, including 7 years in primary headship, David brings his classroom and leadership experience to BCU. He specialises in Primary Music which he lectures in across PGCE and all BAQTS year groups. He also teaches on professional studies modules, and subject specialism modules. He has links with local musicians and composers, who support on the modules he teaches on.

He works with trainees whilst they are in schools; supporting, encouraging, mentoring, in any way that the trainees need. He is one of the BAQTS Y2 year group tutors. In this team role, he supports trainees in a variety of ways; academic & pastoral, which might include a cup of coffee and a chat in Costa! His vision is to see our students leading the way in Birmingham schools for generations to come.
