A day in life

Did you know our Conductive Education course is the only one in the UK to qualify you as a professional conductor? Our Conductive Education student, Megan, kept a diary of one day in her life during placement and explained to us what life as a conductor is all about.

Open Days

We’re offering a series of opportunities for you to come onto campus this autumn. You will have the opportunity to have a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, view accommodation and meet current students. Visit one of our Open Days and discover just what we have to offer.

CHARLOTTE SMITH

Charlotte never believed she would be able to go to university because of her dyslexia, so she just went straight into being a teaching assistant at a special school. While she was there, she started to study for a child care qualification and is currently studying to become a Learning Disability Nurse. During her time at BCU, she is the first person to be a dyslexia ambassador at the only university with dyslexia accreditation in the UK.

Our Facilities

We’ve expanded and improved the health and nursing facilities at our City South campus. Our facilities offer hands-on practical experience with professional standard equipment and simulation activities.
