You will develop a range of academic and technical skills relevant to film production, including the physics of sound and light being captured during production, and techniques to digitally store and manipulate images and audio in post-production.

Film Technology and Visual Effects

This course provides you with the technical, creative and production skills needed to be successful in the film or visual effects industry, including the capture and editing of live video and audio, the creation of digital elements and use of compositing tools.

Digital Media Computing

This programme covers everything from coding to animation, helping prepare you to meet the professional and technical demands of industry using a range of systems and technologies.

Filmmaking

You will learn about differing filmmaking traditions and practices while applying these skills to a range of production and industry activities. You will be introduced to key principles of filmmaking and training in film industry perspectives.
