Places still available for Sept
"I chose Birmingham City University for a few reasons – the league table rankings for the University and that specific course - BSc (Hons) Building Surveying, I had the grades needed, and it was within commutable distance of my home."
"I enjoy the practical nature of the building surveying course, and the fact that there's a job route for me when I graduate. The assignments offer real problems to be solved, making the tasks more relevant and engaging. The City Centre Campus is very smart and easy to get to, with a wide range of computers and study areas. The staff are good at answering any questions or issues you might be having with your work."
"I've secured a four-week placement at Savills, to take place in Birmingham at the end of the year. I also have a part-time job at a local lettings agency, working with the maintenance team to help solve minor building defects and other maintenance tasks. I hope to finish at University with a 2:1 or higher, complete my APC and then I eventually aim to run my own business."
"The main advice I’d give to someone in a similar situation to me would be do your research and don’t panic!"
