Want to find out how your organisation can make the most from Birmingham City University’s (BCU) newly expanded Business Services offer? In this blog, we highlight the new business support opportunities available, and how you can make the most of our new web pages.
Why we expanded BCU Business Services
As you may have noticed, we have recently migrated our products from our retired website, BCU Advantage across to the BCU Business Services section of the Birmingham City University website. We’ve also expanded our business support offer with more products to help you achieve your goals. But why did we do this, and how does it help you find and apply for the business support services you need quickly and easily?
Easier to find
Migrating our SME support services from BCU Advantage into our core BCU Business Services found on the Birmingham City University website, enables you to find out and enquire about the support we can offer your business, in one place, without the need to jump between different websites.
Simple navigation
Often find it hard to find the information you need quickly? We’ve introduced a new way for you to discover and engage with our services. Our products have been grouped into four new support categories – Attend, Recruit, Collaborate, and Learn:
Attend – Specifically interested in attending events or hiring space? In this support category you can browse and register to attend business support and networking events, or connect with our Events Team to hire venues, facilities, rooms and catering to support your own events, workshops or meetings.
Recruit – Many businesses are unaware that we offer a whole range of free graduate and student recruitment services designed to save you and your organisation time, hassle and money. Our Recruit support category offers you a selection of free services to help you find the right candidates for your permanent and short-term job vacancies, internships, or placements.
Collaborate – You will find business support services which partner you with BCU experts and specialists, enabling your project, activity or venture to benefit from the knowledge, skills, facilities and resources at BCU that may be lacking in your business or organisation.
Learn – Our selection of courses and programmes can help you and your team learn in the way you want to, from condensed and practical Short Courses to higher level Continuing Professional Development or Apprenticeships.
