What is an Offer Holder Day?

An Offer Holder Day is more in-depth than an Open Day and gives you a more tailored experience. You'll find out more about your course and hear about the student experience through taster sessions and opportunities to meet academic staff and current students. You will also have an opportunity to view our accommodation and chat to our support services.

If you have already been to an Open Day, this is your chance to explore your course and subject area in more detail and if not, you'll get an in-depth introduction to studying here.

You are welcome to bring one guest with you to an Offer Holder Day – and we provide a special programme of activities for parents and carers (outlined in the schedule below). We know that parents and carers have lots of questions and concerns about what university life is like, so we have provided dedicated time for them to get the information they need.

Using real-time data and practical examples, the session highlights essential concepts such as risk, return, financial analysis, fintech and portfolio diversification. Students will also see how analytical tools like Bloomberg support financial decision-making in real-world market environments. By the end, participants gain a clear insight into how finance students develop the skills needed to understand markets, evaluate business performance, and make informed investment decisions.
