The Governance and Assurance Hub, formerly the Centre for Internal Audit, Governance and Risk Management, is a market-leading academic, research and training institution.
Established in 1990, it has a reputation for student and employer engagement and works closely with:
- The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors
- The Institute of Risk Management, and
The focus of the Hub is to deliver a high quality training experience supported by practical involvement from experienced industry professionals and it is this that has helped it deliver the highest pass rates in the UK for first time entrants to the Institute of Internal Auditors Diploma examinations with over 90 per cent of students passing examinations or gaining exemption at their first attempt.
The Hub has an annual intake of over 120 students, coming from all areas of the private, public and voluntary sectors in the UK, plus international students from over 75 overseas countries.
We engage with organisations within the UK and internationally from the private, public and charity sectors for the provision of postgraduate and professional qualifications tailored to the customer, as well as fully accredited CPD programmes to support business and organisational requirements.
