My name is Parminder Bhangal and I studied BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying at Birmingham City University.

Job related to Degree

After I graduated from Birmingham City University I went out to look for a job and I managed to find a job as a Quantity Surveyor in Central London, doing high end residential refurbs and new rebuilds as a contractor.

Relevance of Degree to Job

While I was doing the course, we learnt a lot of stuff that has been substantially relevant within industry. Since I have been working, a lot of the practices that we use at university I have also used out in industry — so the course was very good.
