Elham Delzendeh

Dr Elham Delzendeh is an Associate Professor and the College Academic Lead for Employability at the College of Built Environment, Birmingham City University, specialising in Digital Built Environment and Technological Design. With a robust academic background including a PhD in Architecture and Built Environment, an MSc, and a BSc in Architectural Engineering, she is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).


Her research focuses on cutting-edge digital technology, building energy performance, occupant behaviour and Building Information Modelling (BIM). Elham’s practical experience in the design and construction industry complements her academic pursuits, providing a rich, real-world context to her teaching and research. Her dual expertise bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhancing the learning experience for her students and advancing her field.
