BCU has received the Cisco Networking Academy Premier+ Partner Award for the seventh consecutive year, recognising the University’s role in Cisco’s mission for global impact.
The award recognises the top 5% of Cisco’s Networking Academy partners. Out of 12,200 academies and 31,300 instructors across 195 countries, BCU was one of the top 5% of partners who received the award. As part of the Cisco Networking Academy Program, BCU is one of only ten Cisco Instructor Training Centres in the UK.
The University supports more than 80 schools, colleges, universities and not-for-profit providers in the UK and abroad, delivering instructor training to staff from other academies, as well as directly training our students. Strong industry partnerships with global technology leaders like Cisco offer many benefits for students. Cutting-edge networking, security and programming skills are embedded into our courses, and students enjoy unlimited access to network software tools, technical training and more than 2,000 hours of training content in networking, cyber security and programming.

Since Cisco opened an office in STEAMhouse last year, students have also benefitted from opportunities to interact with experts on campus.
