Law student, Khadija, has made a lasting impact at Birmingham City University through her passion for social justice, equality and anti-racism work.
During her time at BCU, she has embraced the wide range of opportunities available to students, helping her grow both academically and personally.
In 2026, Khadija received the Outstanding Student Contribution of the Year award at the Birmingham Law Society Awards, in recognition of her dedication to creating positive change. Alongside studying Law, she runs an anti-racism charity with her brother and regularly delivers lectures focused on challenging discrimination and promoting inclusion.
Khadija believes BCU’s diverse and supportive culture has played a huge role in her development, providing students with the resources, encouragement, and opportunities, needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
